Why should I hire a surveyor?

We are trained and licensed professionals who understand Minnesota surveying best practices. We accurately locate lot boundaries, verify monuments (iron pipe, rebar, pin, stakes) at lot corners, and re-establish missing monuments. Our equipment is state of the art to give us the most precise measurements possible.

Do I get a map?

For basic lot surveys we do not provide a map. We locate and mark the lot corners. Most residential projects including fence and driveway installation do not require more than that so we want to keep costs low. If your job does require a drawing or you would like one we are able to provide that service.

Do I need to be home for a survey?

No. As long as we are able to access the front and back yard you do not need to be home. If you would like to be on-site while we perform the survey just let us know and we can schedule accordingly.

Why are you walking on my neighbors lawn?

We need to double check that the monuments on your lot are accurate so we use your neighbor’s lot corners as a reference.
